Ü Project | Export Component | CAE-Startup 
The CAE-Startup dialog allows starting available CFD/FEM applications whereas the CFturbo created geometries are transferred automatically.
Available products are listed in the tree on the left side. On the right side properties of the export to this product can be set.
The version of the product can be selected from a list or the path can be defined manually and deleted using the buttons. The availability of version to choose from depends on the product vendor.
If not either a product version is selected from the list nor a path is defined manually the export for this product is unavailable and marked grey in the tree.
Version selection and working directory
All data exported by CFturbo is written to the working directory and it's passed to the product when its' started.
The run mode defines if the product waits after the predefined processing for a user interaction or runs in batch mode without any user activity.
Ansys ICEM-CFD
The Interactive mode exports the geometry and opens it in ICEM. Afterwards the scripts for meshing can be started manually. The Batch mode enables the configuration of the meshing parameters and runs the scripts automatically.
| • | Create OutPipe for Volutes: An outpipe is created on volute exit. |
| • | Include Meshing: Defines, if meshing scripts are processed automatically (only available in Batch mode). |
| • | Meshing parameters: Opens the Export ICEM-CFD dialog. |
Simerics PumpLinx
Currently water is assumed as fluid for pumps, whereas for all other types of machines air with ideal gas behavior is assumed. If different properties shall be considered they have to be set in PumpLinx.
| • | Add to existing PumpLinx project: The geometry is added to an existing project. If option is not selected, a new project is created. |
| • | Refinement factor: Defines the precision of the exported geometry data. |
